Built on Nervos CKB. Engineered for self-custody.

Neuron Wallet is a desktop application built directly on the Nervos CKB Layer 1. It exposes every CKB primitive — cells, scripts, DAO, tokens and DOBs — while keeping your keys on your device.

The CKB stack inside Neuron

From the underlying Cell model to the user-facing wallet, every layer is designed to keep you in control of your CKB assets.

Cell Model

CKB stores all state in Cells. Each cell has capacity, data, a lock script and an optional type script. Neuron lets you compose and spend cells directly, so advanced CKB workflows stay possible.

CKB native state

CKB-VM

A RISC-V virtual machine executes every lock and type script on chain. Neuron estimates cycles, validates script hashes and builds transactions that the CKB network can verify.

RISC-V execution

Nervos DAO

Lock CKB in the DAO for 180 epochs (~30 days) and earn a share of secondary issuance. Neuron tracks deposit time, current compensation and the next unlock window.

180-epoch cycles

sUDT & xUDT

User-defined tokens are native to CKB. Neuron supports both sUDT and the newer xUDT standard, letting you add tokens by type script hash and transfer them like CKB.

On-chain tokens

Spore DOBs

Spore Digital Objects put content and logic on-chain inside CKB cells. Neuron renders DOBs and handles their transfer as first-class assets, not just metadata pointers.

On-chain DOBs

BIP-39 / BIP-44

Your wallet is generated from a standard mnemonic seed and derived via BIP-44 paths. This makes Neuron keys portable to any compatible wallet or recovery tool.

Standard HD wallet

AES-encrypted keystore

Private keys are stored encrypted on your device. The encryption key is derived from your password, so the wallet file is useless without it.

Local encryption

Ledger hardware signing

Pair a Ledger Nano S / S Plus / X with the Nervos CKB app. Private keys stay on the hardware and every transaction is confirmed on the device screen.

Open source & reproducible

Neuron is published under an open-source license. Anyone can audit the code, inspect releases and build the binary from source to verify what it does.

MIT license

Security model

Neuron is built around a single rule: your keys should never depend on trust in a third party.

Keys stay local

Seed phrases and private keys are generated on your device and never sent to a server.

No account or KYC

Neuron does not require an email, phone number or identity. Your wallet is your keys.

No tracking or analytics

The wallet connects to CKB nodes you choose. No usage analytics, crash reporting or fingerprinting is built in.

Auditable by design

Open-source code, signed releases and reproducible builds mean the community can verify every release.

How Neuron connects to CKB

1

Local wallet

Neuron generates and stores your keys locally on your computer.

2

CKB node

The wallet syncs balances and transactions from a CKB mainnet, testnet or local node.

3

On-chain verification

Every transaction is signed locally and verified by the CKB network through the CKB-VM.
